Apeh Harrison Iwodi, is an astute businessman, an entrepreneur and is fast becoming a household name in Nigeria as a passionate philanthropist.
He is a well-travelled resource person and a highly magnetic trainer in the areas of enterprise development, capacity building and public/motivational speaking. Apeh is a great communicator with the ability to interact with people of diverse culture and personalities.
Apeh Harrison is the founder and CEO of Minds Group, a multi-faceted business conglomerate comprising of companies like Minds and Lines (founded in 2006, an Architectural company which specialize in construction, interior designs and furniture manufacturing), Purple Minds Magazine (a youth empowerment organization), Purple Foundation (a philanthropic and charity organization), amongst others.
As a man given to excellence, Apeh’s desire to see young people like himself become successful and contribute positively to the society, powered the birth of Minds magazine in the year 2010 with the aim of replicating success in the young generation around the world starting from Nigeria. This great innovative idea, has successfully held entrepreneurship summits called the Youth Economic Summit (YES) and Teen’s Empowerment Network (TEN) in various locations across the country for the past five years. Through these, over 6,000 persons have been trained, empowered and awarded educational and business grants in various capacities and in various states of the federation.
Apeh hails from Otukpo, in Benue State of Nigeria and spent most of his childhood in Makurdi where he attended Happy Home Primary school, after which he progressed to the Federal Government College, Ugwolawo, Kogi State, where he obtained his secondary education. He holds a BSc/MSc in Architecture from the prestigious Federal University of Jos and has since then worked on diverse projects around Nigeria. He is a project manager per excellence and a business mentor to many within Nigeria and abroad.
Among many other achievements, he ventured into the media world where he successfully produced the “Yawa” series which was nominated for the best short film in the 2016 AMVCA awards. Yawa series portrays real life experiences through the lenses of comedy and is one of the projects of the Minds media in partnership with Visual Farms.
Apeh Harrison Iwodi is married to Winifred Apeh-Harrison the founder of Jasmine Harrison Brand and they are blessed with two lovely children, Khen and Kharece.
